I posted on your message board last month how I wish I had found your site
sooner and read the warning about lever-back earrings. Unfortunately, as I
said, I ripped my earlobe out on one. It is not healing well and I was
hoping for some advice on how to get it fixed. I attached a picture of my
ear. Help! I would like to get it fixed and get back in hoops soon. What
are the options? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies! btw, love your
site! (Pic here)

Kerry , you need to go to a plastic surgeon the get your lobe repaired. It
is very repairable, it might be costly but well worth it..I know that if I
had my lobe ripped like that I would have it done right away because going
without my big hoops would never ever work..I would be like a lost soul...lol..if
you look on the web they have alot of information on the subject of torn
earlobe repair..Good luck Kerry and hope to see you with your big hoops
again...

In common with a lot of the other correspondence on this site I was amazed
that I am not alone in being crazy about hooped earrings. Having told
friends about this in the past I was made to feel that it was very
unusual. Yet I have collected pictures for years now. There is just
something so magical & sexy about hoops on a woman. I have always
tried to analyze why this should be & have never worked out why, but
who cares, it is just such a good enhancer of female beauty.
Hoop wearers like Holly Valance just don't seem half as attractive when
they're not wearing them.
My wife wears large hoops from time to time & they really do so suit
her, though she doesn't wear them quite as much as I would like.
Having discovered that I am not alone in this passion it is interesting to
note how the passion varies amongst us, those who prefer silver, those who
like multiple hoops, those who think men should wear them.
Personally I prefer gold though any metallic ones are still good (plastic
ones don't quite have the same appeal, don't move in the right way), I
prefer one hoop per ear, and as for men, I hope it never catches on,
though I love hoops I find them very feminine, I certainly would never
wear them & I actually like the
definition of women only wearing them. (Hey we're all different)
Still, heres to finding out that there are quite a few of us out there

Thanks for the info annie, I did figure that plastic surgery was what
I would have to do, but there are so many types, and they all claim they
are the best. Some say a straight stitch is best, others talk about
Zplasty and Jellyroll. Has anybody had any of these? How did it turn out?
Were you happy with the results? I want to do what will work best and I
don't want to end up with a bigger mess. I want to get back to wearing my
hoops and looking sexy again!

I think they used that Z thingy when they did my lobe. There is still a
mark, and my earlobe looks different, slightly shorter. It was a pretty
bad rip, so I guess I should be happy. I had it re-pierced awhile back and
have made it back to hoops. I am wearing a smaller but heavy one in that
ear, hoping to stretch it a little so that it matches my other ear.

Yes, Karl, I am. I am not sure I trust you but I will put a good foot
forward. It was during sex. The actual night was wonderful, but my
ear hurt like hell the next morning. Over the next two days, it got very
swollen, infected, and ugly. I went to a doctor, and made up an excuse. He
treated and bandaged it. When I took it off about three days later, I
realized I needed to see a plastic surgeon.

Cherrie, do you regret with hindsight to have ripped your earings? What
did you say to the doctor? what kind of excuses? Did he trust you? Thanks
to your answer and if you regret, i'm sorry of having encouraged to rip
your earrings...

I am looking for a pair of 4" hoops. I followed the link on your
site, however, the site was down. I will try back but do you have any
other sites that I might try? I NEED BIGGER HOOPS! I think I have a

hi Chocalata, Check eBay for big hoops. I bought several pair of 4"
hoops and even a pair of 6" hoops. Unfortunately I wear big hoops
very rarely now as I have stretched my bottom holes to 00gs (9mm) and big
hoops just don't hang right in any of my other ear piercings. Besides most
people just think it is strange that a guy can wear big hoops :-}

This is going to sound funny, but at age 22, I still don't have my ears
pierced! Lately, I have been having these dreams. In them I am wearing
these big hoop earrings. I am free and wild! I know it's just a dream, but
part of me wants to live it out! At least a little ;) I even went out and
bought myself a real big pair of hoops. I want to get my ears pierced and
wear them, but my earlobes are very soft, and someone told me that because
of that, earrings would quickly cut out of them. Is this true? What if I
only wear them a little? I'm a little frightened, but I so want to do
this! Can anyone give me some advice? btw, This place is fantastic!

Pattie, what a super dream!!! even though your 2 earlobes are very soft,
you can't cut them only by wearing big hoops during short time. Even
you wear very heavy hoops all the days on your soft earlobes, your
earlobes cant' be cut off before at least five years... Anycase,
pierce your ears and try hoops more and more heavy and big each time and
you will see. The only way to cut earlobes is ripping deliberately
the earrings from your ears and it need a strong traction... Believe me!
Have a nice earlobes' piercings! Oh , how many earholes on each lobes do
you want?

Hi Pattie, go for it girl, get those beautiful lobes pierced and put those
big hoops in and enjoy yourself!! You will love the feeling of them
bouncing off your cheeks and swinging from your newly pierced ears, the
feeling from within is special as well. very personal to me anyway, I
would never be complete with out big hoops in my lobes..lol, kooky? whos
knows but thats me.. your right about this being a great site. you are not
alone, get those ears pierced right away and let us know how you feel. The

I have been watching my namesake Nicole Kidman wearing huge earrings on
all these shows for the last year. Now I find this site, and it has turned
my whole view of this upside-down. All these years, I have seen the rich
and famous wearing big earrings and thought it was about glamour. Now I
find out about this sexual stuff. What a joke on us regular folk!
Their getting off on it. If this is all true she must have been near
orgasmic wearing that pair that were almost twisting her ears off. I see
no point in letting them have all the fun. I am off to my local shop!

Thank you for such quick replies, it makes me feel at home! About an hour
after I made my post, I decided enough is enough, and was down at the mall
getting my ears pierced! It was so exciting! I know it's no big deal
getting your ears pierced, but this was more about living out a fantasy!
For now I have two cute little gold balls in my ears. They look lovely! I
am suppose to wear them for four to six weeks. I did not ask about
wearing big hoops because I was embarrassed. I so cannot wait!!
I was reading that thing about earrings being a turn on and I am so
excited! I had the dream again last night, and when I woke, I felt the
little earrings in my ears and was so happy! I got out of bed and
went into the bathroom and held the hoops I bought up to my cheeks to see
how they will look and to feel how they felt against my neck and cheeks.
I am so excited! Thank you Karl and Annie, after reading what you said, I
don't feel weird about this any more!

who love BIG hoops..Cant wait till we hear from you after you try them for

earlobes!!!! What about the two photos I submitted (gallery 24) The most
numerous is the better ?(even though you must pierce 20 times your
earlobes?) The thicker is the better ? (even though you must stretch your

Four days down and twenty-four to go! I am soo excited! I guess I am
talking way too much, but this is the only place I can vent! I kind
of know what may have brought this on, and since you all are so nice, I'm
gona bore you and share! My boyfriend and I were being intimate about a
month ago, and he started nuzzling and biting at my ear. It was driving me
wild! Later, as I was falling asleep, I was watching VH1, a TV
channel that has music videos on it. I can't remember the group, but the
girl singing was wearing those big kinda hoops. That was the first night I
had the dream! Anyhow, I kinda OCD'ed on the whole thing and have been
obsessing ever since! Hey, it's fun! Btw, a girl I know suggested I get a
pair of smaller endless hoops and that I could change into them by taking
my backs off and kinda following the studs through backwards. I think I
read the same thing here somewhere, and that they will heal faster. I'm
gonna wait a bit, too chicken right now! Karl, I looked at that
picture, and it's just not for me. Too many! I would look tribal! Annie,
does it really change the way you feel? I am so excited! I said
that, I know! Now I'm just going on and on so I'll say bye. Bye!

Hi Pattie. Don't be chicken, that does work. I did it. The studs they use
for piercing are pretty thick. Look for some small hollow hoops that are
about the same thickness, then put a little Vaseline on them. just
stick the little point on the stud into it and slide it forward. The hoops
leave the front and the back totally uncovered so the air keeps them dry
and they heal a lot faster. Good luck!

Kim, thanks for the tip! I bought a small pair of endless tube hoops. They
are about 3/4 of an inch. There was another smaller pair, but I don't
think I could have twisted them enough to get them to work without
wrecking them. They are very thin and look about the same size as the
studs. Wish me luck, I'm going to try to put them in tonight! My
boyfriend saw my pierced ears for the first time today and said they
looked very sexy! This is all like a cool dream coming true!

I attached a picture. I did it! It went pretty well, except
after I pushed it through, I couldn't get it to slide back, so I
had to spin them both all the way around. I guess it was a
little thicker then I thought because it's a real tight fit!
It's smaller around then I guessed as well, more like 1/2. I
lucked out because my sis left her camera over my house, I hope
you can use the picture cause I have no idea what I am doing
with that stuff!

Way to go Pattie, your on the way to wearing your big beautiful
hoops..Anyday now!! I am as excited as you are too LOL..Good thing to get
the little ones in to aid in the healing process, you might be able to put
the big ones in in 3 weeks from now just see how the lobes feel, only you
can tell when you are ready, "Yes" to your question about the
feeling that I get when wearing big hoops, I feel sexy, confident, ready
for anything, The feeling of them bouncing off my neck and cheeks, the way
they pull on my lobes are part of me and I would never feel complete
without them in my ears..I know our webmaster will remind us of safety
factors and that is a very good thing to be reminded of..but I sleep with
them in most the time for different reasons..lol..we wont go there
now,.and the kind of hoops I wear are not snap bar closing type, maybe I
will send a pic of the styles sometime for you to see..But they are all
BIG hoops..I am going no and on now so I will say bye soon...Enjoy

Is anyone here particularly aroused by a woman wearing TWO large silver
hoops in each ear? Personally, I think it's overdoing it although I do
find two medium or small hoops in each ear particularly arousing.
Is anyone else from the UK? Do you want to chat from home? How about
forming a Hoop Earrings fan club for the UK? (or the US , for that
matter).

Isnt the internet great! The only way the people with similar thoughts can
meet up and find others with the same feelings as themselves! I love women
wearing big hoops, but I love more seeing women with two, three or four
piercings in each ear. I cannot work out why, but a girl with two or three
big hoops is just fantastic to see. Any girls out there want to email me

Only one more week to go! I am so excited, I had that dream again
last night! They are probably healed well enough now, but I want to play
it safe. I did hang a key off one of my little hoops just to get a feel.
It is so strange to feel something pulling at you that way. Very sexual
and daring! The little hoops I am wearing now I can't feel at all. I
went shopping again and found a pair as big as bangles! I so can't wait!

Pattie, It's time! Please let us know if you have tried your big
hoops on! If you are like me, you will find it thrilling! Give
this a try, after a nice hot shower, comb your hair back, and slip them
in. Go into a dark room and just let your mind feel them as the sway and
touch your neck. I have found this to be rather fun *smile* Please let us
know!

Hi guys.Been reading back thru yr postings!This site is so cool!!!I am
a big hoop fan - never, ever, ever wear studs or drops at all!!! Why would
you want to???They are soooo dull.Hoops are big and bold and tell the
world who is coming.Do any of you girls like to wear maybe two hoops at
once? I lurve that feeling when they jangle together and stretch my
lobes....mmm, feel good just thinkin about it. Considering getting a third
piercing in each ear - whaddya think? is that too much?

They're in!! OMG! I think I overdid it (my ears are so sore!), but
it was a dream come true! I put in my biggest hoops first thing when I
woke up. They felt so strange!! I loved how the would gently touch my neck
and playfully tugged at my ears! I think I have become a hoop
addict! I have a date tonight!! (so to speak) Wish me luck!

What a change in my love life! I can't say if its how I feel about myself,
if its encouraging my boyfriend, or me just living out my fantasy. After
one heck of a weekend, I went back to my small hoops for the workweek. It
is a little tricky changing back and forth, but I'm getting the hang of
it. For fun, I wore my big hoops to work on Thursday. I never got so much
attention! I got a few dirty looks from some of my female coworkers,
but the male reaction was universal! I'm spending this weekend over
with my boyfriends, and have my big hoops packed! So where is
everyone? I know something happened here cause the site was gone for
awhile. Hope I'm not the only survivor! Bye for now all!

Hello Everyone! Great site by the way. Do any one of you girls have
"reversible" hoop earrings? I recently bought my GF a really
pair of this kind. She refuses to wear them and says she has never heard
of wearing earrings backward. Complains that it takes too long to put on.
Any one of you had similar
problems? If it is so troublesome why make em?

Carlos, I love reversibles. Esp the two tones, its like two pairs of
earrings for the price of one! If her holes are small, they can be
tricky if you don't have a mirror. You could always help her. My holes
have a little room so they go right in with no problem. It' a little weird
watching something come out of the hole tho, a little creepy the first few
times you do it. I guess you never get to watch the back of your own ears!
This might be what bothers her.
Now Pattie, you have just scratched the surface of the fun you can have
with hoops. It changes the way you feel about yourself, and the way you
look to others. It changes all interaction. It proudly proclaims that you
are adventurous, a little wild, and not afraid to show it! It's

My wife have doublet pierced ears. She wears "reversible" hoop
earrings in the bottom and a diamond studs in the top. She will not wear
real hoop earrings.

Pattie, congratulations and welcome to the world of hoops! Reversibles are
earrings that can be worn front to back or back to front (you insert the
post from behind your ear-lobe). They usually have different patterns on
the two sides. I don't like reversibles either, they are difficult and
sometimes painful to insert from the back. take care! -L

supplié de me faire deux trous supplémentaires dans chaque oreille (je
n'avais qu'un trou auparavant...). Je porte désormais des créoles
(hoops) suivies de deux petits diamants. C'est plutôt mignon, et je songe

I have not got the hang of changing earrings yet. I had a wonderful
weekend last week, and waited until Tuesday before changing to my smaller
hoops. My earlobes were a little red and swollen. I guess I wore them a
little too much for being so newly pierced. There are two girls I work
with that really give me dirty looks when I wear them to work, so I needed
to change them. I still have my small hoops in and probably will keep them
in over the weekend, but I am having some fun hanging charms from the
small hoops and even tried a feather! I guess that used to be in style a
long time ago from the comments I got, but I liked it! I loved the
feel of it on my neck and shoulder!

holes in each earlobes. ( I had only one hole in each ear before) Now i'm
wearing hoops followed by 2 little diamants. it's quite pretty and i think

Things are so quiet here! My life has been anything but! I am no longer
exclusive with my boyfriend, in part due to the hoops! One too many cute
guys have asked me out, and he did not want to commit. We still go out and
have some wonderful times, but I have since been out with two other guys.
I would have never expected something as simple as earrings to change my
life!
