I am a hip chick who loves BIG earrings - especially hoops!  I have really good taste.  My favorite thing is jeans, a wife beater, and every peice of diamond jewelry in my jewl box.  Oh, and high heels, of course!

I have the biggest crush on a hot girl who often wears large hoops. I tried to be her boyfriend, she was not interested in me, but we have become friends. When I see her in her hoops I get a "weak in the knees" sensation. She looks so good that sometimes I feel like I'm going to faint. When I take her out to lunch, she tells me about going out to the clubs with the girls, the guys that pickup on her, and the times that she has gone home with guys. When I see her big hoops they are very symboic to me. Her hoops are telling me that she is sexual, yet I know she will never be sexual with me. In this sense her hoops have turned her into an unobtainable Goddess in my eyes.

Hello. I am 22 years old. I live in Athens in Greece. You know Olympics 2004 :) Well a friend told me to see this site and I think it's great. I never thought about all this with hoops earrings, even If I wear large pairs all the time. I find it fascinated. from the time I read all this I have the feeling that all men are watching my large hoops :) I have also a nice pair of earrings just like the Olympics games sign. You know 5 large hoops. Now I am thinking of buying more pairs oh hoops in different sizes. I think I feel more sexy now that I know all those I read.

This is from her music video "You Had Me". This is my favorite scene, but there are many other nice hoop sequences in the complete video; I recommend it to all hoop lovers.  To play the attached video, you must have divx installed on your computer (www.divx.com ; the free version is fine). I tried to make it as small as possible, but still keeping as much quality as possible from the original. Hi, I love the look of large hoops. Where I live lots of women wear them. It's a great thing to see a crowd of beautiful women with large hoops on. When I was 16, my girlfriend asked me to try on a pair. I was reluctant until she showed me a picture of Nuno Bettencourt,(the guitar player for Extreme) wearing, I think, 2 in hoops so I put them in. I instantly liked the feel of them swinging in my ears. Now its all I wear. Keep wearing the large hoops, girls.

JLG (Webmaster) That site has our oldest galleries on it (1 to 31.) They are three years old. I will be moving the Long Dangles site to that address in early March. If you want to grab any pictures from those galleries, do it now. I have no plans at this point to repost them. Link for site. We are still looking for good pictures for the new site.

Debbie......the more the merryer just mark the new hole the same distance as the first two. if they are all 1/2 inch apart they will look great. Its only when the spaces vary thtat they look like garbage. the more holes the morerr you can play with mix and match

The story is odd! I know a girl that might have been like taht, kept wearing bigger nad bigger hoops. It would be my worst nightmare! Course, I wonder if people who go with those big eyelets ever wonder what it will be like when their like 40 and real old.

:) my story! Thank you for posting it! Ken, my story is loosely based on my teen years growing up, but I don't think it rises to the level of autobiography because if focuses on such a small section of my life while leaving so much out. I over dramatized some things because so much emotion is lost in writing. It was really weird for Jim and myself to revisit these topics. It brought back many feelings while reconfirming many conclusions. When you write in retrospect, many things that were puzzling at the time, seam so clear. Thank you for reading it.

Jenny, I just read your story and all I can say is wow. Was this autobiographical? Did this all happen, or is it a story that is based on some stuff that happened? Or is it fiction? It sounds like you lived it. It was very stimulating. If you lived it, what was it like writing it? Did it bring back feelings?

Kimberly - I don't think it's trashy at all- in fact, I would say it's very sexy. Do what you feel looks good on you. 
Debbie - just put the third hole right above the existing second - it will look fine. Or, put a third hole at the very top which would look awesome on your ear.  Good luck to both of you! Kris

Debbie 2/2/05 I want to put a third hole in but I spaced my others out too far. All you people are into this stuff, where should I put it? Should I give up on my second hole and start with a new second and third? I've attached a picture of my ear. Both ears are doubles. I want to have triples.

I have a question. Do multiple large hoops look trashy? I think its cool, but one of my friends says its too ghetto. I wear two in my right and three in my left. They are 2 inch, 1 1/2, and the third is a 1 inch.

Fawn, don't feel bad! I'm not blond, and I wasn't drunk but I had the same thing happen. Mine got caught on a scarf. It's those dam partial hoops, they kinda hang from your ears yelling "rip me!" I threw all mine out and now only wear complete hoops. They must've been invented by a plastic surgeon looking for work!

I am crazy about large hoops I thought I was alone man with this love of anything to do with ears, hoops, earrings studs. To me the best part of a women is the ears ..anything else is secondary. I'm really curious about what has become off Happy Husband, Hoop lover, and Pam from #9 . Did the guys get there ears pierced, did Pam get her ears stretched?? What has happened with these people..
I don't know about any body else , but the suspense is killing me.

It's actually one of those glow in the dark things you put on your neck. I have a 6 gauge lobe piercing, and thought it would be fun to try for your site! I hope you put the picture up because my girlfriend bet me I wouldn't send it in. btw, I had the nickname Loopy-Hoopy for years cause I loved to wear hoops so much!  I bet it will be a long while before someone tops this one!

Hoops are me! I have always loved hoops, the bigger the better. Getto hoops are the best! I think I look hot with them on and I feel naked when I go without.

I have been fascinated with the look of hoop earrings on women since I was 5 or 6 years old. There is nothing like the feeling you get from seeing a good looking woman in big hoops. I also love the look of 2 or 3 holes per ear. My wife has 2 per ear, but won't wear 2 hoops per side. I'll keep trying to change her mind. What a great site this is!

I'm glad hoops have back into fashion n the uk. There is definitely something alluring about women wearing hoops. I don't know whether i'd call it it a fetish but its definitely sexy!!
