So ponytails and a baseball cap are in fashion when worn with large hoops? Again, I am beating the trend!  It's a practical style too, but limited to the summertime! My ears would get kind of cold in the winter.  I love wearing caps. It keeps my hair out of my eyes without having to cut my bangs short.

Did anyone see Kylie Minogue on MTV last week at the shore? She was wearing a 4-5 inch hoop in one ear and a tiny hoop in the other ear. Very nice - and I usually don't find her attractive at all...

I love everyhting about a big pair of hoop earrings! The look of them! The way they move and sway wih the head. The way they bring out a girl! Everything about they is great. Everyone needs to wear them, not just the girls. That is not fair for the guys!!!!!

A trend-setter? by pure accident. I just like wearing big hoops, happen to like caps, and was wearing my hair in a ponytail, which keeps my bangs out of my face!  Bandit, I think people get the size of these hoops all mixed up, I have one pair of four inch hoops and they are HUGE!  Most people see three inch hoops and think they are four. I could never imagine a pair of five inch hoops!  My four inch hoops don't even fit between my ears and my shoulders, and I have a long neck. Eirc, I think big hoops on a guy would look weird, although that is probably because I have never seen it. As girls, we can get away with doing something weird like that and just call it personality!

Hi Kim - yeah, it's possible I have the wrong size for Kylie, but I have a pair of 3 inch hoops in front of me - no, I don't wear them - and Kylie's hoop appeared to be much bigger. Either way, it looked cool with the one big hoop and the smaller hoop in the other ear. Do you wear your hoops in public or is it a private thing? I also have to agree that guys with large hoops would be a little weird for me - I wear one very small hoop on occasion - nothing big though.

JLG 9/8/02 (Webmaster) The "Summer of Hoops" movie season continues with the release of Sweet Home Alabama staring Reese Witherspoon (Pictured at left, click for a larger shot.) Who knows what the plot is about and who cares! I'll be in the audience just to watch those nice big hoops dance on her earlobes!

Hopefully, the movie will be a big hit and encourage other actresses to follow Reese and place nice LHE's on their sexy little lobes!

Always in public! I love wearing something that will cause a guy to spin around and do a double take. People know me by my look and probably would not recognize me if I wasn't wearing a pair of my favorite hoops.

Oh that's all I need, someone cutting my head off and pasting it on a naked body and plastering it all over the net!  I'll pass for now! Here's a trick I want to pass on to you all. I love hoops, but I though I may have to give them up for a while when I noticed that my earlobes were slotting out a bit. A friend put me wise to this trick. After you take your earrings out at night, and before you put them in in the morning, rub your earlobes with your finger and thumb below the hole until they are a little red. It tightens them up.

Heard about that trick. Another thing that helps is a little Retin-A applied to the base of the lobe. Both work to help build vascular structure and the associated collagen fibers. The primary reason holes will sag (outside of injury) is due to lack of good blood flow in the skin under the piercing. This is why sag varies so much from person to person. Anything done to improve blood flow and firm up the lobe will help prevent this sag.

Great site! Tried large hoops for the first time, love the feeling. My BF went crazy (I think) he could'nt keep his hands off my ears!! Planning on trying multiple large hoops this weekend - need some help here: I have five holes in each ear plus one more on top on my left. How many hoops should I wear and what sizes? Suggestions? -L

I have always been a big lover of hoops, only wish I would have been a girl where I could have wore them. My wife wears them for me when I want her to. I love to see women out there with the huge diameter hoops on. It is such a turn on for me to see them. My wifes biggest are about 4" in diameter. I would love to see some bigger in her ear if I could.

I would love to see Katie Couric wearing the biggest hoops she could find. Even thought she is older she still is awesome. She needs to stay young at heart and for god sacks get some big hoops in her ears!!!

Hey L, 11 holes in total?!? Very cool. If it was me, I'd like you to mix it up a little....maybe wear 5 little to mid-size hoops in the one ear plus the one on top and none in the other? Or, if you're adventurous, go for large to small in both ears... You have to report back with how it goes and what you wore!

I just luv wearing and/or seeing a woman wearing a beautiful classic pair of gold hoops.
I've had both of my ears pierced for 12 years now . Up until recently I wore small gold hoops all the time even at work.

Hi ZT, I was surprised to come by here and still see my name still being used. There would not be too much of a point in such a picture anymore as my ears are a wreck. After a long pause, my BF and I started playing around again, and in one such night, things got very ugly. My ears. I should say I was not alone this time. I had encouraged him to start wearing an earring during our play, and soon found out he was turned on by risk as well. We are both in pursuit of a plastic surgeon at this point. It may seem like a high price to pay, but there was actually a wonderful feeling of self fulfillment in living out this fantasy. I can't explain it, but if we could go back in time, I would want nothing to be different! Thanks for asking about me. *Smile*

Sorry Bandit, the only clear picture of my ear I could find was one where I had no earrings on! I have included it anyway. Maybe next time. As for the holes, there are only the two. Maybe it is time for more!

Just saw Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama. Although I wish she wore hoops throughout the movie (never enough for me!), the shots that are in there are worth going to see!  Besides, she's a real cutie, and it's a good movie!

The comments by Cherrie inspired me to go back and read some of the older posts. It sounds like you got into some pretty kinky stuff. I take it that at some point it started up again, but how did you end up getting your boyfriend involved? There are a few chapters missing here. As a guy who's girlfriend likes to play with his earring during sex, I would sure like to know what to watch out for, and yet you say there are no regrets. Many questions go through my mind. I hope you do fill us all in.
